3. 🇦🇷 The one in the forest — Cariló, Argentina

Cariló isn’t a beach town with some trees; it’s a planted pine forest with a beach at the edge — sand streets, no streetlights by design, houses you can barely see from the road. This chalet is 112 m² on a 1,001 m² lot: double-height windows, a wood-burning hearth, a deck under the pines. And a bank will finance it — rare down here.

These are seasonal towns. In Cariló and Cachagua, plenty of houses are lived in for eight weeks and shuttered the rest of the year — the rental income is real, but concentrated in December–February. Price the empty months in, not just the peak. And on this coast, deals still close in US dollars, cash.
